Frosty Glass Ornaments

I've seen these glass ornaments on quite a few blogs since Splitcoast Stampers posted the tutorial (here), including Lindsey's and Jenn's. Check out the beautiful ones they made!

I had purchased the glass ornaments, intending to emboss on them, but once I saw all these other samples, I had to try it this way (much easier!). By the way, it is VERY difficult to emboss on the outsides! I think I ruined five ornaments before I gave up! The ink smears because you have to roll the stamp on the glass. My upline, Sarah, made some beautiful ornaments last year with embossing on the outside, so I applaud her! It's hard!

Anyway, back to this ornament! I stamped the snowflake from Frosty on the transparency with Whisper White craft ink, then embossed it with Iridescent Ice ep to make it sparkly. I put some fake snow in the ornament and added a bit of glitter to that as well. I used silver elastic cord as a hanger for the ornament.

I made a bunch of these as Christmas gifts for the ladies in my downline (I can say that now because I've already given them to the girls!).
