I had to make another card with the snowbursts! This is a card I will be making with my downline tonight at our group meeting. I wanted to show them how to make the snowburst, so I thought this would be a fun card to make together. You can find a tutorial here by Donna Mills on how to make them.
For this card, I used Real Red as the base. I stamped "Happy Holidays" from Flaky Friends in VersaMark and embossed it with white ep. Then I stamped the snowflakes from the set all over the card in Whisper White craft ink and heat set them so they dried quickly. I then adhered some white grosgrain across the front and added the snowburst.
The snowburst was made with Whisper White cardstock and vellum paper. For the center, I stamped a little snowflake (I think it's from Merry & Bright) in VersaMark and embossed it in white. Then I punched it out with my 3/4 inch circle punch and adhered it to the snowburst with about a quarter of a dimensional (so it didn't show through the vellum!).
There it is, quick and simple, just the way I like it! Thanks for reading!
