My Mother-in-Law's Beautiful Cards

These cards were made by my mother-in-law, Margo. I just thought they were so beautiful I had to share them! She is participating in the Walk to End Breast Cancer in August (a 60 km walk!), so as part of her fundraising, she gives hand-made cards to people who make donations to the cause. These are a couple of the cards she gives out.

The first one uses the Never Ending Joy set with (I believe) Barely Banana and Mellow Moss cardstock and ink. The background stamp is Fine Lace, and she used the Designer Label punch for the sentiment.

The second card uses the dragonfly from Unfrogettable, but she coloured in the face so it looks more elegant. I think it's embossed with Iridescent Ice over the Cameo Coral ink, but I'm not sure! It could be glitter. I guess I should have asked her! The flourishes on the background are from Carte Postale. She put a torn piece of vellum across the front, held on with heart-shaped brads.

I hope you like them as much as I do! She is very talented and loves to stamp (so much so that she signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator with me!). She does read my blog, so if you have a comment for her, you can leave it here and she'll see it.

Have a great day!

Hi Shannon, tell your MIL that her cards are lovely and it's a wonderful idea to give a card to the sponsors. I'll keep that idea in mind. TFS!!
