Polka Dots Swing Card

Finally - a card! This is another one that I did at my specialty cards stamp-a-stack last week. It's a swing or flip-flop card. Click here for the tutorial.

The tricky part of this card is all the scoring and cutting to get the center cut out just right! Once that part is done, it's very simple!

For this one, I used So Saffron as the base. I used my Petals jumbo wheel with So Saffron ink to lay the background on the base of the card.

For the center part, I used the Polka Dots & Paisley stamp set. The flower is stamped with Bravo Burgundy and Always Artichoke on Whisper White cs. The dots are stamped with So Saffron. I matted this onto Artichoke and Burgundy cs.

On the inside, I did the same thing, but added the greeting. To finish the card, I used Bravo Burgundy narrow grosgrain ribbon.
