Here's my card for Beate's Challenge this weekend.
I chose to go monochromatic again! Next time I'll try a few more colours! I just think that using one colour looks so elegant.
For this one, I chose my designer paper first. I had an unopened package of the Close to Cocoa print dp, so I cracked it open. I was going to use Close to Cocoa cardstock, but I didn't like the look, so I went darker and paired the paper with Chocolate Chip cs. I just used three different patterns from the dp, inked the edges and matted the pieces on the Chocolate cs. I stamped the small flourish from Priceless onto the left-hand piece to give it a bit more texture. For the circle, I stamped the flower from the same set in Chocolate Chip onto Close to Cocoa cs and punched it out with the 1 1/4-inch circle punch. I matted this onto Chocolate cs and punched a 1 3/8-inch circle. I put a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the center of the flower and attached it to the card with a dimensional. The "mon amie" sentiment is from the Carte Postale set.
