I haven't done a sketch challenge for awhile, and I really like this card design that Beate chose for this one. Check out the challenge here (there's a prize!).
I absolutely love the Sage Shadow/Blue Bayou combination. I will be using these colours together for awhile (until I get sick of them!). I just think they complement each other so well. Plus, I get to use my new double-stitched ribbon!
I haven't used my Leaf Prints wheel for a long time, and I thought it was about time to break it out again. I started with that, then tried to find a stamp set to go with it. I like the Simply Said set, so I stamped the flowers in Blue Bayou on Very Vanilla cs and coloured them in with Sage Shadow using a blender pen. But it still needed something. So then I stamped the butterflies from Priceless, cut them out and stuck them on with dimensionals. The sentiment is also from Simply Said.
I was quite proud of my card until I looked at Beate's sample! Wow! She is so amazing. Most of you probably have her blog bookmarked, but if you haven't checked it out, go see it! You will be blown away!
