March Stamp Club Cards

Thank you all for your encouragement about my Scrapbook Club, which met last night. I think everyone had a good time, and they seemed to like the layout (see this post)! One lady scrapbooked her sister's five-year cancer-free celebration, and their theme was pink, so that worked perfectly for the layout and supplies I gave them! For a few of the ladies, this was their first time scrapbooking, and all their pages turned out beautiful! It was really a fun night.

For my March Stamp Clubs, I wanted to do some "spring-y" cards and showcase some different techniques and projects.
I was inspired by Corie to do a Criss Cross card, although I will concede that she is the queen! I started with Berry Bliss designer paper (my new favourite!) and used Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink as accent colours.
For this card, I used the VersaMark resist technique, which is one I've wanted to show for awhile. I can't decide if I like the card or not! It's pretty green - but I think it works nicely for St. Patrick's Day (at least that's my story!). Does anyone give out St. Patrick's Day cards? Anyway, I used Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery for this one, along with the Baroque Motifs stamp set.
This final card has appeared on my blog before, but we'll be making it at Stamp Club, so I had to post it again.

I used the Bloomin' Beautiful set from the Occasions mini catalogue, along with French Script as a background. The colours are Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Whisper White. I used my aquapainters to watercolour in the flowers with Blue Bayou, Mellow Moss and Sahara Sand for the vase. The flower ribbon tie is from the Styled Silver hodgepodge hardware (also in the Occasions mini), threaded with Whisper White grosgrain. I finished it off with a couple of silver brads.

Thanks for reading, and don't forget to enter my blog candy draw here!
