Could it Be Any Colder?

I can't believe that it's almost minus 40 degrees Celsius. It doesn't get much colder than that around here! I'm not venturing out of my house today. The boys and I are going to watch movies and lay low! BRRR!

I'm hoping to get some stamping done this afternoon, so I'll add to this post a little later when I get something done!

ETA: Okay, I got some stamping done this afternoon!!! YAY! I worked on a couple of Stamp Club projects, but I want to wait until I finish all of them so I can post them all in one post. Another thing I did was make a baby shower invitation for a friend of mine. She wants me to make some invitations for her, so this is a prototype!

She asked for it to be a pocket card. I made it fairly simple since I'll be making a whole bunch of them (if she decides she wants to go with this one). I based it on the Celebrate card on page 8 of the Spring/Summer Preview brochure, but I used the Bundled in Love set instead, with Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue and Barely Banana cardstock. I think I'll round the corners on the outside Bashful Blue piece, though. I hope she likes it.

oh my gosh, I thought you said it was cold at 40 degrees Celcius, then I read it again and there's a tiny little "minus" before the 40!

Yes, minus 40 degrees Celcius certainly is COOOOOOLD!!!!

You're very fortunate to have such a great hobby to keep your mind off the frostbite! lol

Wow...I would be an icicle! We just had a high today of 80degrees here...it was nice! A little windy, but can't complain about that! ;) The invitation is adorable! I love that set, it's sooo cute! Love the side pocket too!

Good golly, Miss Molly.......that's cold! It's almost as bad here in Thunder Bay. Love this invitation and there's no reason your friend won't love it, too! Glad you're feeling better.

I was bouncing around the blogs and found you and this sweet item - I have been looking for some interesting card ideas - this would be great for invites where the return card was inside. Does this sort of creativity come from the super cold environment?

Thank you.
