When I saw this Music Expressions stamp set and Symphony wheel in the Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalogue, they immediately jumped out at me and I impulsively ordered them without having a clear plan as to what I would do with them! I know you're not supposed to do that, but I just couldn't resist! I love music, and it's been a long time since Stampin' Up! has had a good musical stamp!
Anyway, for this card, I wanted the Symphony wheel image to stand out more than the stamped image, so I stamped off the violin stamp in Basic Black on scrap paper a few times before stamping it on my Whisper White cardstock. Then I wheeled the wheel in VersaMark and embossed it in black. I sponged Pacific Point ink over the embossed part and around the edges, then I used the cutter kit to distress the edges and give it a worn look. I adhered that piece to some Basic Black, then added the sentiment piece with a clip tied with Basic Black grosgrain ribbon. I then attached the whole thing to the Pacific Point card base.
