And for a chance to win this candy, since it's October, all you have to do is leave a comment here telling me what your favourite Halloween memory is.
My favourite memory is a conglomerate of years. My sister and I always had to wear snow pants under our costumes because it always snowed before Halloween, and we only had two big costumes that fit over snow pants - a cat and a clown. We always argued over who got to be the cat because neither of us wanted to be the clown! (We had different costumes that we wore to school, but for trick-or-treating we had to wear the cat and clown!)
So here's what you can win:The candy includes:
- four 6 x 6 sheets of Ghostly Greetings dsp
- one 6 x 6 sheet each of Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black cardstock
- five die-cut pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie
- stamped images from Harvest Home
- 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in Basic Black, Always Artichoke and More Mustard
- Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware pieces
- Metal Edge circle tag stickers
I'll leave this open until Monday, October 13, and then I'll use Random.org to choose a winner!
Thanks for visiting!
Blessings to you,

My favorite Halloween from growing up was pushing my brother around in his wheelchair (he had muscular dystophy) and one year someone grabbed his bag of candy. I gave him mine but when the neighbors found out, they all brought over tons of candy (and quarters!) to make sure he had a good stash. He was dressed up as Sir Graves Ghastly a local kiddie program on Saturdays and I was a gypsy (I did the same thing every year). We were always so so goofy. I miss him even tho its 36 years later he has been gone.
My favorite is just all the homemade costumes we had over the years. We never bought costumes but always made our own!
We have a large family and had many, many Halloween parties but the best was when we invited a group home of mentally and physically challenged kids. They had the best time and my children did do!

Congrats on your hits, my friend!!!! No need to enter me in the drawing, just wanted to stop in and say hello!!!! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
I remember all the hussle and bussle of us 5 kids getting into our outfits for Halloween, piling into the family station wagon and being dropped off at the end of the street with Mom,and Dad would drive to the other end of the street and wait for us to go from door to door gathering up loads of candy then going to the next steet, etc. That was when Halloween was about treating and not so much tricking. Candy was safe to eat, alto our candy was still looked over, and kids were safe. Oh how times have changed. Thanks for the chance for some fun blog candy!!

My favorite memory is that being the youngest of 5 children...when I got home with all my treats and my brothers and sister used to steal all of them. It's a good memory now but wasn't so good back then, lol! Great treats you got there Shannon,Congrats on all your hits girl!!
One of my Halloween memories is of when my Mom dressed 6 of us as mice and the oldest as the Pied Piper. We won first prize for that.
I've never actually celebrated Halloween, I live in Finland. :)

Hi Sandy!
Actually this is my first visit but I will be back for sure. Great Blog you have...so talented!
My favorite Halloween memory is not from my childhood but from my son's. Every year my Cousin and I would take our two boys out trick or treating together. This one year, one of the doors we knocked on was answered by an elderly lady who absolutely loved the boy! She had a bowl full of suckers. She dumped the entire bowl on her porch floor and the two boys looked at us as if they thought it was a joke! When we nodded our approval they dove in on their hands and knees and started filling their bags! The lady was entirely amused and smiling from ear to ear! We did make them stop though before they were all gone!
I've always loved Halloween, but my favorite would be 11 yrs ago when my son was born. The drs and nurses were somewhat dressed up and it was just a fun, relaxing atmosphere. . . even though I was in labor!!!
My favorite memory was when I dressed up as the Headless Horsemen. My costume was awesome.
My favorite Halloween Memory happened only 5 years ago in 2003. My best friends had been living in Puerto Rico for 4 years and they came home to Hawaii in 2003. I had missed them a lot. We celebrated anything and everything we could that year, just to make up for all the time that we were apart. We put together a Halloween Party at home with all the fixings. It was a lot of work, but really fun! Since then, couples have grown into families and now Halloween is mostly for them. That was our last hurrah!
My favorite halloween memory is from probably about 8 years ago. My husband & I went to a costume party and one of our friends showed up as a scarecrow- hay stuffing sticking out of his shirt & all! He made such a mess throughout the entire house but we were all amazed at his creativity & the work that he put into it.

My greatest favorite Halloween would be when we would go out and there was this one House that always decorated more than the others and Always had a Haunted house ....That yr my father knew and Told me to go up first ....well on our way up the drive ...A skeleton that was sitting in a chair GOT UP and scared My father ... It got him running and leaving us there....IT WAS PRICELESS to see!!!!
My mother always made my costume out of pajamas or a nightgown (she couldn't stand to waste money!). She was really creative, however, and I always had cute--but practical costumes.
My favorite Halloween memory is when my mom and my aunt dressed up as witches and hosted a Halloween party for the kids in our two families--9 kids total plus friends from our classes at school--maybe 50 kids! They put on a skit for us--one was silhouetted behind a hung up sheet, crouched over a big kettle over a make-believe fire, stirring and reciting a poem about the parts and pieces she was putting in her witches brew. The other passed around the pieces so we could feel them in the dark---peeled grapes were the eyes, a rubber glove filled with jello for the dismembered hand, spahetti for brains, nylon bristles for whiskers, etc. Oh, how spooky it was--I can still remember the muffled shrieks and scuffling as people rapidly dropped whatever they had been handed!! lol
That party was the talk of school and neighborhood for years after that.

I remember bobbing for apples at Halloween when I was a kid! Also our Halloween costumes used to come in a box with a plastic mask! Love that!
Would love to win!

My favorite Halloween memory from my childhood was going trick-or-treating when people gave you BIG candy bars or popcorn balls or homemade cookies and you didn't have to worry about them because you knew everyone in town - my town had a population of 250!! Lots of fun! Congrats on your hits - you have a great blog!
my fave memory is the one, where I was a pink bunny in thirs grade. Kind of like the christmas story.
Congrats on your many hits on your blog! Hmm...my favorite Halloween memory is the fun we had when the boys were little and we dressed them up and went to visit relatives and neighbours; that was before they got old enough to go door to door. Thanks for the fun. SharriC
Congrats on your hits! My favorite Halloween memories were when I was a kid my mom used to throw a Halloween party every year in our cellar and all the neighborhood friends would come. We played games and bobbed for apples and won lots of prizes.
