Acrylic Post-Its Holder

One of my downline, Kristine, showed me this cute idea for post-its (I know it's on Splitcoast as well, but it's new to me!).

It's just an acrylic 4 x 6 frame that I found at the dollar store.

For the main part, I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi cs to 4 x 6 so it would fit in the frame. Then I used the Apple Cider designer paper for the background. I stamped the sunflower from Give Thanks in Basic Brown, then coloured it in using blender pens with More Mustard, Wild Wasabi and Close to Cocoa ink. The little flowers are stamped from the In the Spotlight hostess set in Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie and Mustard, then punched out with the 3/4-inch circle punch.

Then I slid the page into the frame and adhered the post-its to the outside. I just peeled off the back page and stuck the last post-it onto the frame. That way, it's re-usable when you run out of post-its!

For the pen, I just cut a piece of designer paper 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 inches, rolled it up and slid it inside an RSVP pen. Quick and simple!

Oooh, I really really like this - I have never seen this before either! I love what you did Shannon, need to find some of those frames! Where do you get pens like that where you can put paper in them? Fabulous idea - love the whole project!! *STAMPIN CREATIONS* Alex

This is a GREAT idea! For some reason, doing the thing with the apaer in the pen really appeals to me - I'm going to get some pens out now...

This one is darling!
Be prepared to plan a class! Whenever someone sees these, the next question usually includes the word "how"! *wink*
